A tour from San Fran to Austin with Sparta and Ki:Theory was a great excuse to get most of us out of the office and into planes, vans, and dirt bikes. Nick and Kevin were behind the cameras filming Keeley and Ash (each in one of the touring bands). The guys would film with GoPros ( mounted all over vans, drums, guitars, mic stands, and on our day off…..dirt bikes ) and a 5D. The music magazine and website Alternative Press, featured the Sparta related videos on their website altpress.com for fans of the band to get an up close and personal glimpse of not only travel and backstage antics but also the actual performances. Most of all the editing was done while traveling to the next shows. Since the guys could only stay on the tour up until Phoenix we decided to have a real blowout on our day off. Straight after the show Nick, Keeley, and Kevin booked it to a hotel close to Tonto National Forest for a day of dirt biking and filming in the desert.
